Grace & Nelson is a family-run firm of licensed Ecuadorian attorneys. For more than 25 years we've helped people who move here buy a home, settle their affairs and, when the time comes, leave cleanly.
We work in English and Spanish, from our office in Cuenca's historic centre, by WhatsApp and by video call.

For people who already live here

Many of our clients first came to us for their visa. Years later they come back when they buy a second home, rent one out, write a will that works in Ecuador, or sell up and move on.
Each of those has its own taxes, certificates and notary steps, and a mistake usually surfaces at the worst time: at the registry, or after you've left the country. We handle the legal side end to end and tell you plainly what it will cost.
How we charge
Legal advice, whether by email, by phone or in a meeting, is billed at $70 an hour for an attorney. For a defined job we can agree a flat fee before we start.
Immigration has its own fixed prices, published on myecuadorvisa.com.
